EV AUTOMOBILE
ENGINEER
We are seeking a talented and experienced Automobile EV Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electric vehicle systems, including battery technology, electric drivetrains, and vehicle control systems. As an Automobile EV Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of our next-generation electric vehicles.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Design and develop electric vehicle systems, including battery packs, electric motors, power electronics, and control systems.

Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for EV components and systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EV systems into vehicle designs.
Prototyping and Testing:

Build and test prototypes of EV systems and components.
-
Conduct performance testing, durability testing, and safety testing on EV systems.

Analyse test results and iterate designs to improve performance and reliability.
System Integration:

Ensure seamless integration of EV systems with vehicle architecture.

Work closely with software engineers to develop and implement vehicle control algorithms.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration and performance.
Project Management:

Manage engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source components and oversee production processes.

Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Innovation and Research:

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV technology and industry trends.

Conduct research and development on new technologies to enhance EV performance and efficiency.

Propose innovative solutions to improve vehicle range, charging capabilities, and overall performance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in electric vehicle engineering, including design, development, and testing of EV systems.

Strong knowledge of EV components such as battery packs, electric motors, inverters, and control systems.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).

Experience with vehicle control systems and embedded software development is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
